APH – Hey Badefuwa, it’s good to have you here. I’m a huge fan of your work, tell us what’s your name, where are you from and where did you grow up?

BADE FUWA – Thanks a lot. I’m Bade Fuwa from Lagos state. I’ve spent all my life here in Lagos actually.

APH – As a photographer and creative what do try to explore with your work/art?

BADE FUWA – I still can’t pin down what my work tries to explore but I know I do a lot of experimenting and not saying no to a new concept that challenges me.

APH – Looking at the amazing and beautiful concepts you portray what motivates you to create those kind of images?.

BADE FUWA – Lately I’ve been motivated by nature and beauty. I always try to capture beauty how I see it.

APH – Are there any photographers or artists thats has greatly influenced your work?

BADE FUWA – Early on I did a lot of studies on Peter Lindbergh and Irving Penn

APH – What niche of photography do you belong to ?

BADE FUWA – I do enjoy interpreting my ideas with fashion.

APH – What kind of gear do you use to create your images?

BADE FUWA – I shoot with a canon 700d

APH – What was the first gear you used during the genesis of your photography journey?

BADE FUWA – I started with a Canon 450D

APH – Do you think gear matters?

BADE FUWA – I think it depends on the project you are working on. But starting out to learn the fundamentals it does not really matter.

APH – What skills did have to develop during your creative journey?

BADE FUWA – I think I am a much better talker. Lol. Maybe Early on I did not say much.

APH – What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve faced as a photographer?

BADE FUWA – Omo; Lagos agbero. It’s quite challenging to navigate as most of my shoots are done outdoors.

APH – How do you work with clients to make sure their vision is represented in the photos?

BADE FUWA – I mean it’s a service they want so you must give them what they want.

APH – You’re right in that part. When it comes to lighting how do you handle difficult lighting situations?

BADE FUWA – The more difficult the lighting the better the image for me

APH – I see you love to challenge yourself. That’s inspiring. The world is changing daily What do you do to stay current with photo technology and trends?

BADE FUWA – I don’t know much about trends in photography. Maybe they are but I’ve never check them.

APH – How do you make sure you deliver the highest-quality photos to your clients?

BADE FUWA – When they say they love it lol

APH – Is there something you really want to achieve in the world photography?

BADE FUWA – Being the best is subjective. I’ll like my work appreciated. That’s all.

APH – Do you have any advice to any one starting out as a photographer.

BADE FUWA – Just keep shooting. The rest will take care of itself.
