APH – It is wonderful to have you here with us @ags_pixels. Tell us What is your name? where are you from? Where did you grow up?
AGS PIXELS – “Thank you so much for having me. My name Anyanwu Godson Oluseyi, I am from Imo state but I grew up in Osun state, osogbo to be precise”

APH – Wow that’s nice, would you believe if I said I have never been to Osun state? But anyways What type of photography do you specialize in?
AGS PIXELS – “ahahaha, I am a beauty, fine art and corporate photographer”

APH – Wow Beauty, fine art and corporate photographer, that’s nice. How long have you been a photographer?.
AGS PIXELS – “I have been a photographer for two years now I started towards the end of 2020”.

APH – Towards the end of 2020 and your work is so good, I have to give it to you are really talented, your work is amazing. Right now What is one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos in 2020?.
AGS PIXELS – “Thank you so much, hahahah. There are a lot of things actually, but if there was one thing I could tell my past self, it’ll be fine to be less pressurized”.

APH – Im guess there’s a story behind that quote “ it’ll be fine to be less pressurized”I would love to hear about it someday. What kind of equipment do you use to capture your beautiful images?.
AGS PIXELS – “I use a Nikon d7000 and a Godox v860ii Speedlight as my main light”.

APH – Wow. What was your first gear during the genesis of your photography journey?
AGS PIXELS – “A Nikon d3300 it was my boss’s second camera but I had good memories with it”.

APH – Are you the type to think the type of gear you own matters?
AGS PIXELS – “Yes gear matters cos if I had better gear i know the quality of work I’d be producing”.

APH – How do you adjust your camera settings to capture the perfect shot?
AGS PIXELS – “The camera setting depends on where I’m shooting and what I want to achieve.”


APH – What techniques do you use to capture emotion in your photos?
AGS PIXELS – “I tell my clients that they are actors in a movie and try to make them act out the emotions I want to see. Music also helps.”

APH – Out of all your pictures, do you have favourites? Share it with us
AGS PIXELS – “I have a lot of images I don’t think I have taken my favorite yet”.


APH – Whose work has influenced the most?
AGS PIXELS – “Ahamibeleme, Sanisegunkabir, Bighstudios, Fabulousbanji, Mofebamuyiwa, Podimagery and a host of them i honestly can’t mention all”.

APH – Those are some pretty big names. Where is your studio located or where are you based?
AGS PIXELS – “I have a home studio in my residence in school; I’m still a student though; I’m located in Osun state for now.”

APH – Do you ever get insecure or get dissatisfied after a particular shoot?
AGS PIXELS – “ I used to be insecure but I’m way more confident now cos I trust my creativity even in the most difficult situations”.


APH – How do you work with clients to make sure their vision is represented in the photos?
AGS PIXELS – “I ask them required questions and try and infuse my creativity into the work and they are satisfied with it”.

APH – How do you handle difficult lighting situations?
AGS PIXELS – “Tbh bad lighting is one of the worst issues one can have as a photographer but depending on the situation I trust my knowledge of lighting and my post production skills to do the job satisfactorily”.

APH – What do you do to stay current with photo technology and trends?
AGS PIXELS – “Instagram, YouTube as well as my circle keep me abrest of the latest trends”.
